Mukul Kandara

Out of high school, Mukul studied for two years at the Sydney Institute Film Academy (SIFA) at Randwick TAFE in the Screen and Media (Film & TV) course and graduated with an Advanced Diploma. Upon graduating he worked for three years at Wyhldfisch Productions as the in-house video editor and camera operator.
Here he edited two TV half hour documentaries. The first, “Dear Me: Dangers of Drugs” centred on a letter written by former Bali Nine ringleader Andrew Chan while on Death Row in Kerobokan Prison. The letter is aimed at Australian high school students and depicted Andrew’s life story, hoping to warn students about the perils of illicit drugs. The second film, “Connecting to Community” told the story of the redevelopment of the Moree East Public School and the impact the new state-of-the-art school is having on the local community.
Mukul also returned to SIFA to work on the first feature film made at the college, “Blackout Bandits” as an Editor & Producer. Constructed of seven separate short stories that were inter-cut together to form one cohesive narrative, the film centres on one night when a blackout throws Sydney into darkness and how it dramatically impacts the lives of Sydneysiders.

I was as into technology career, at the same time I’ve been learning and practicing photography over 10 years, I am aspiring to progress as full time camera assistant and eventually as Cinematographer with the long term goal of becoming world class Director of photography.
ANNA SABLJIC

Anna Sabljic works as a film editor, assistant director, and producer. She has a bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts, majoring in Graphic Design, from the University of Wollongong, and has received her diploma in Screen and Media (Film & TV) at the Sydney Institute Film Academy.
In 2017, Anna was an assistant editor, researcher and graphic designer on the documentary “Turban Legends” which aired on ABC’s Compass.
Working with Ambient Light Magic, Anna has edited “The Girl in The Blue Helmet”, and “A Day in the Life of a Young Mother”, as well as helping shoot and edit “Storytellers: Sailing Adventures”.
